Halloween Voodoo

What a day!
Thank goodness I got a second wind because earlier I had thought of skipping my blip tonight I was just too tired. I was woken once again at 3 a.m. with my mouth hurting and didn't get back to sleep till 4. Then I was up at 6:45 to bring Dillon out and by the time I gave him water and fed him, I figured I might as well shower.

I got dressed after my shower and went down to wake Nadia for her Halloween Parade at school today. I gave her breakfast, got her dressed in her costume and off we went. I had told them I would stay and walked with the kids as the parade around the campus so I pulled up a teeny tiny seat and waited for the pre school teacher to get everyone settled and then I was assigned one other child besides Nadia to walk with. We walked to various different buildings on the campus and each place had either a treat or an activity for the kids to do. After visiting everyone, we went back to the classroom where you could take your child home.
My daughter got out of work early and met us back home. We made sure Nadia had a good lunch and then got her ready to go trick or treating. The neighborhood was full of kids of all ages.
My sister lives in town too so we got a peek at my niece's costume. She was going for a voodoo look and I think she nailed it. The make up was done so well. It just had to be my blip today.
Our curfew was for 9 p.m. so kids were coming all evening. We only have a few pieces of candy left. We ate a pizza afterwards and collapsed on the sofa.
Thankfully I had to take Dillon out again and make myself a strong cup of coffee, I might not get around to commenting on everyone's journals tonight but I will try.
