Sunset over the village fields

It was such a beautiful day today, very golden October day so that my Mom and I took a walk after our afternoon nap. We were already back at our car, when I turned around and saw the marvellous band of right light across the sky. I had taken my compact camera with me (cannot handle carrying a tripod and Nikon D800 yet) and was very glad I had a proper camera with me to capture this awesome moment.
