Dripping

Don't let my exuberance fool you; while spring is certainly close we are not done with winter just yet. This icicle proves it!
The way it's been dripping I doubt it will still be hanging there tomorrow, which is why it serves as today's Blip :)

Today was a good day. Late last night we heard the senate passed a bill that will extend unemployment benefits for another month. A month doesn't sound like a whole lot, but for people that would be lost without said benefits, it's a lot.
I'd be much happier if we didn't need them, though.

But ... the sun is out, the snow is melting, the week is half-done and I am with the man I love. I am a lucky woman :)


I realise this shot is iffy, composition wise, but I couldn't figure out a crop that would show the waterdrop at the bottom and sunlight on top of the icicle.


ETA: I was right, the whole icicle was gone before dinner. Told ya I'm lucky :)
