Verticals 3: Water of Leith walkway

It reminded me of Clive Dunn - they don't like it up 'em - the way there's nothing more important than making sure that scallywags and ne'er-do-wells (to use the polite terms) don't jab themselves while they clamber over your fences instead of walking an extra two feet and going through the convenient and beautifully designed stone archway. So the tops get chopped off so that they're not pointy and hurty any more.

I hope you'll agree that it's a job well done. Careful measurements have been taken and just the right amount removed with surgical precision from the top of each pointy to make the fence safe for climbing, without damaging it's aesthetic appeal and historic character.

A scrub and a lick of paint wouldn't go wrong either.
