Treat, No Tricks

Took my lad to the Ellesmere Port's Fab Lab this morning as they had a free Halloween event on for kids to participate in. Fab Lab can produce almost anything using laser cutters, plotters, 3D Printers & CNC routers through a variety of computer aided design software. It is free to use for educational purposes, but many people/businesses use it (with a small fee) for odd jobs. A fascinating place.
These Halloween shapes that Tuttle Jnr is suspending were cut out using a Laser cutter, which he then had to paint, glitter & thread. Cakes & juice were on offer too.

The afternoon was spent carving our pumpkin that we bought yesterday.
Nana & Grandad treated him for a spot of tea.
Then a bit of swimming training for the mile swim next week.
To keep the Halloween spirit going.........Harry Potter on DVD for the three of us............munchies & beer for the adults too.
