October painting

The day started well.
Beautiful warm sunshine, barely a breeze.
Outside painting was on the agenda.
The kids loved it.
It went down hill from there.
Master B went too far with his colour mixing and this masterpiece turned into a muddy puddle!
Miss B got tummy ache and became pretty unwell.
The afternoon turned into a mammoth Thomas the Tank Engine viewing fest (2.5 hours!)
Miss B slept for an hour (unheard of in daylight hours)
Master B and I experimented with bicarb, vinegar, food colouring , oats, chocolate powder and hoola hoops. The results were interesting. Kept him entertained while his sister slept.
