Young colleague #1 entered the office this morning "happy Halloween" she declared

Happy Halloween? Since when did that become a greeting? Happy New Year - yes. Happy Halloween? I have just about come to terms with the term " trick or treat" instead of guising but the use of the jolly " happy Halloween" has tipped me over the edge! And yes I am a GOW!

We have had several guisers round this evening. Lovely to see the kids of the village all dressed up! Mr Lif made our pumpkin. I think it is rather fine
