Lovely fungus

I found quite a lot of fungi today on a short walk around the nature reserve, but this one was the most spectacular. There was a large cluster growing out of an old beech stump. I think it's a large, mature clump of Shaggy Scalecap, Pholiota squarrosa, but I'm not sure that has the very wavy gill margins - that feature points towards the very common (and much hated) Honey Fungus, but I couldn't see the characteristic ring on the stem. Whichever it is, I found it very beautiful.
