Park Lane Portrait, London

Day 302 of 365. It was a beautifully sunny day today so I decided to go for a walk at lunchtime. I meandered for a bit and then for some reason ended up on Park Lane where I came across this sculpture outside one of the very posh hotels. As soon as I saw it I was mesmerised by it's strong colours and the shadows it cast. I think when I took this I was almost inside it and time seemed to disappear and I took shot after shot. It was one of those rare times when photography just takes you over and you could have been there a few seconds or for hours.
