'Wicked'

This morning I drove to Chandlers Ford to visit my daughter and family. It was a rather elongated journey due to gridlocked traffic for several miles which added an hour and a half onto my two hour journey. It all turned out to be tree cutting on the west side of Arundel!

This evening Kelly and I went to see the show 'Wicked' at The Mayflower Theatre in Southampton. It was wonderful, great vocals, costumes, lighting... so much enthusiasm. They had a full house standing ovation which was well deserved.

'Wicked' (full titles: Wicked The Untold Story of the Witches of Oz) is a musical with music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz and a book by Winnie Holzman. The musical is told from the perspective of the witches of the Land of Oz. Its plot begins before and continues after Dorothy's arrival in Oz from Kansas.
