Prickles

These are a very common prickle in Australia called the bindii. No matter where you go they will be there! They'll be stuck in your socks, your beach towel, your cardigan and your dog and they really are sharp and prickly!!

I pulled these from Toto's legs when we got back from the walk this afternoon. He can pull them out himself and he eats them ugh but I like to check his feet and legs because if they're left too long they can get really bound up in dog fur and have to be cut out or dug out of their paws.

I put them on the kitchen counter and a little while later just in passing I noticed the late sunset light was hitting them in an interesting way! Got busy quick smart with the macro and loved the way the light made them glow! :)
