Unhappy chickens

I´ve tried to buy free range chicken but it seems that no one in Iceland sells it over here :(
I´ve bought free range hen which is very tough and dry. This almost makes me loose my appetite. I used to live in England where we only bought free range eggs and chickens and tried to buy it organic.

Iceland is way way way behind in animals rights. We dont have any RSPCA or anything similar. No one seems to care if the chicken comes from a small cage, people just want their chicken breasts cheap and full of chemicals :p

I know I want to be a vegetarian one day but the way things are here now, sky high prices, bad fruits and vegetable in supermarkets ...... it will have to wait.
