Somehow (extra pain killer portion) managed in late afternoon to get strength to fit new chain to chainsaw and attack the larch.

90 minutes later gave up and came indoors as it was now dark. 15 minutes later, out popped a whole pile of stones including the biggest ever, a pyramid form 10 mm at the longest edge, monster. Caused no pain but have to say the last few cm's of it's final journey caused me to gulp. No blood and for a short time all pain gone.

High hopes the problem was solved and the small pain which returned was simply remnants.
