Day off no.1

So I had the day off today. Spent the morning in bed reading the news online and watching Netflix. Got up to meet a friend for lunch and had a nice catching up.

Then I ran some errands like taking trash out to recycling and taking the car to the yearly inspection. It passed with flying colours. Then I spent some time down town walking around in the chilly weather and enjoying a good frappe at one of my favourite coffee shop.

Bought a new book I had heard about at this symposium I went to last Friday. It was The Sleepwalkers by Christopher Clark and it's about how Europe went to war in 1914. It's supposed to be very good.

Over all had a good day. Found those white pinkish berries all over down town and found them lovely. Even picked some branches to take home with me to decorate.
