We had to wait for Mr S to get rid of one of the cars he's been working on this week. I like the way he claimed he had taken the week as holiday from work so he could spend time with is, but we've still had to fit in around his car work. Even to the point that we nearly missed the start of the film we had planned on seeing this afternoon.
Had dinner out with the in-laws. Mr S's Dad had surgery last Friday on his ear (he has skin cancer) and they cut a wedge out of the top of it and stretched the skin over the top with nearly 15 stitches at the back of his ear. It was all done by a plastic surgeon and seeing his ear this evening, you wouldn't even realise there was anything missing. One ear is now smaller than the other but it's still the perfect shape. He's had many patches removed from around his neck and shoulders but this is the first one to be taken from his head. It just shows you that you must always wear sunscreen. But Mr S just won't listen; he's just like his father.
