The photograph, courtesy of social media, reminds me of how little I see of my family. I never saw a great deal of them all when I was a youngster and even less during thirty five years in the Royal Navy.

You would have thought that in ten years of civilian life would have allowed me the time to go 'a visiting' but not so, I seem to have less time than ever.

BUT I might have more time on my hands soon!!
