Purple Bridge

What a day of rushing about.  Up and out for the early train  but didn’t make it due to encountering an accident on the A1.  We ended up driving into Edinburgh for the third time this week.  An expensive week for us as parking costs far more than our train fares.

Another busy day at work and something that I had thought would take me about 15 minutes, and would be done and dusted quickly, actually took me all day (in between everything else I was trying to do).  The  IT was against me, and I thought things weren’t going to work out, but amazingly I met my 4.15 deadline, with about three minutes to spare!  Hurrah!!!

Had a nightmare journey home, the traffic was horrendous.  We eventually picked BB up from after school club, 20 minute late – thankfully we weren’t the last.  We then had 20 minutes to get home, get changed and then get back out again.  BB was going to the Cubs Halloween party (having just been at the after school club Halloween party) and I was going to help at the school Halloween parties.  BB decided not to go to the school party as three in one day was probably one too many!!

We revamped the format for the school Halloween parties and it was so much better than in previous years, and the kids all seemed to have a good time.  They brought amazing pumpkins for the pumpkin competitions.  Very impressive!

Have wanted to blip this bridge for ages.  As ever it was snapped in a rush!
