Dark Sky
I was inspired by a recent series by Something's Missing to go out and find another landscape. There is a technique that he has perfected that is quite intriguing to me, see here, here, and here. I could not yet find the right scene to try to duplicate his work, so I did this instead.
I think it was blueplanetphotography or maybe scintilla that said "Find something that you like and copy it." Well I got half way with that, I found something that I like, that is Missing's work. Now the copy part i am working on. Maybe he will reveal some secrets, you think?
What is it that is said about copying and flattery?
Don't mistake me to think that there isn't a vast supply of other great work out there on the blip, just ran into Missing's series and it struck me.
That might be a good assignment, find something you like and try to duplicate the effect. That is similar to this weeks assignment, finding a blipper's name, well somewhat similar... OK, not similar, sorry.
EDIT: MissRAble did some research and found the original scintilla quote: "Take pictures that make you happy. Enjoy other's blips and expose yourself to ideas that you like and try to execute them yourself"
Thank you MissRAble!
