Empty Skies

I spent quite a chunk of today updating our Longshaw Blog which has been woefully neglected recently. Mr PB went out for a walk and came back with the news that he had seen lots of birds so as soon as I could get myself organised, I had a drive out to a nearby spot which is usually pretty good. It was mild and misty, and I sat for an hour or so and waited for the birds to come flooding in. Apart from a few pigeons, one or two pheasant picking around in a nearby stubble field and a kestrel which passed over quickly there was nothing to see. Except for the view.
