Fearless
A wet day by Derwentwater. We took the boat from Keswick to Ashness Bridge and walked back through the woods and by the shores of the lake. It drizzled and rained, but the children were oblivious, as they ran and jumped, paddled and climbed all the way. This eight year old is extremely agile and she seems to have no fear of climbing. Anything she can find to climb she climbs. It had stopped raining by then and we were beginning to dry out.
Mummy is having a sleepover at a friend’s house tonight, much to the children’s amusement. So we’re in charge. All is quiet now, but goodness knows what time we’ll be up in the morning.
Just a little clarification as regards yesterday’s ‘view’. The conservatory that was being repaired belongs to the house opposite ours and I took the picture from an upstairs window of our house. I just thought the juxtaposition of the man on the roof and the hills behind was an interesting image.
