Autumn flower.
At home today so a bit more time to spend stalking photographs.
CoffeePotter was out with her mate TP tearing around the Warwickshire countryside on their bicycles berating any motorist for the slightest indiscretion and causing complete chaos wherever they went. This includes Mary Ardens house in Wilmcote where they blagged their way into the café for lunch.
This left me alone at home for a few hours and I spied this Castor Oil Plant,(Fatsia Japonica) which is growing in a pot on the decking. It has suddenly burst into flower and all this growth has happened in the last two days. There has been a bud at the top of the stem for a while now but it just seemed to be dormant, this unusual autumn weather is probably the cause of the fruiting.
