Shipwreck, Derelict Thursday.

This is my first challenge- set by An Avid Lensman. Although I knew what the word derelict meant, I wasn't aware that it had a special maritime meaning. (A ship or other piece of property abandoned by the owner and in poor condition- according to the OED)

We went to Pembery Beach- a magnificent long sandy beach, well known in the area for shipwrecks. I marched the family ( and dog) along the shore looking for a shipwreck to photograph. It was quite a sight- we were all quite excited, never having seen anything like it before.
