Celebration

A wee bonus present for my Geburtstag yesterday was a free ultrasound checkup at Dr D's GP practice.

It's standard stuff here (every 2 years) for folk with high blood pressure, to check for organ damage.

I haven't heard of it being done in Scotland at all, never mind in a GP surgery, but open to correction.

Good news is my kidneys, liver, spleen, gall bladder & aorta are fine. My heart will have to wait for another day, as she isn't a heart specialist and the person who is (her boss) was fully booked today.

So, a celebration. Leftover birthday cake & a cup of tea.

Don't worry, there's a beer in the fridge for later.
