One for Hobbs

Apparently Hobbs has a "mini challenge" going, whereby we (presumably "we" are those in the appropriate geographic location) have to blip a rhododendron. According to isbi (how does she get this inside information?).

So here's R fragrantisima again.

We have at least a dozen other varieties on our combined 3/4 acre and some of them are spectacular, but this is really my favourite. The fragrance is beyond any superlative I can come up with, but not something that can quite be conveyed in a photograph, so you'll have to take my word for it.

And another barrel of roses today, too.
So many that I've been inspired to try my hand at extracting the colour for dyeing.
