Black and Blue in #Huddersfield

I took lunch today at the Blue Rooms in Byram Arcade, Huddersfield. The cafe was one of my favourite haunts back in the 1990s.

This week the Blue Rooms are playing host to an exhibition of puppets which are representations of young people's black heroes. They were created by pupils at a local school in collaboration with professional puppeteer Amy Hirst.

The exhibition is one of a number of events to promote Black History Month.
