Phoenix United Mine, Minions

Our last morning in Cornwall, and we went to Minions on Bodmin Moor. We walked a mile or so up to the Cheesewring, a granite tor on the edge of a quarry. Afterwards, we visited the Pheonix United Mine, one of many disused engine houses in the area. This was once the largest productive mine in East Cornwall and is where Chase the Wind, a novel in the Retallick saga by E V Thompson, was set.
At 1pm, we decided it was time to head back home.
