76 men and boys.

Was at the school today for the 150th Anniversary of the Burradon Mining Disaster where 76 lost their lives.

The school has been heavily involved over the past year in this anniversary and is the site of a new commemorative plaque that was unveiled yesterday.

All of the classes at the school made their own pit banners and Alice was given the honour of carrying her classes. You can see her peeping around it. Unfortunately I couldn't ask the Mayor to shift so I couldn't get a better shot.
