Sydney at last!

Since this was the first time that our ship had visited Sydney, we arrived to great fanfare. At the crack of dawn, an Australian girl's choir was picked up to sing the national anthem while all those on deck waved their small Australian flags. We had learned on board the words to "Waltzing Matilda" which was sung with gusto. A helicopter flew overhead filming the occasion. It all made for an exciting entry into the harbor. Most everyone was focused on getting their shots of the beautiful opera house. I have my collection of those but chose this view looking off the starboard side of the ship. I thought the sun shining on the city was quite beautiful.
