A day for reflection!

An early morning visit to the James Hamilton Heritage Park. Many birds on the loch, a dozen or so tufted ducks, about fifty greylag geese and the usual mallards, lapwings, gulls and swans. I took so many pictures always hoping for the perfect capture, but unlike flowers birds don't stay still for long! As I walked down the far side of the loch I was struck by the calmness of the water and the almost perfect reflection of the feather which was just resting on the surface. The birds will be there tomorrow but the feather probably won't so I decided it had to be my blip today.
