If it's Tuesday it must be .... Mexico!

We must be mad! We flew into San Diego this morning as we have a flight from here to Hawaii tomorrow. So what does one do in San Diego? One takes a one hour trolley to the Mexican border and crosses into Tijuana. C was suffering from gout in his foot so was hobbling everywhere, but after crossing the border we found a local bus to take us about 1 mile into Tijuana where we spent about an hour. Crossing the border into Mexico is much easier than back into the USA. We spent a good hour waiting "in line" to get back to the States. Sadly the contrast between the two areas was very visible - so much poverty just the other side of the border. Very distressing.
