Turner's View

A lovely autumnal walk through the woods at Bolton Abbey following the pumpkin trail. This is the view looking up the River Wharfe towards Barden Tower that was painted by Turner. We avoided the worst of the rain whilst enjoying lunch at the Strid café before heading back to the car.

This evening we had a very enjoyable trip to the Alhambra for part I of Henry IV, looking forward to part II at the weekend.
