Still alive.

Despite the centre of this large old tree being totally rotted out ,there is still enough of the trunk remaining to keep it alive.It is part of a small stand of natives on a 60 acre block. Soon it will have a lot of company as the entire block is being planted in young natives and already some 30,000 are in. We were fortunate to have guided walk over the place with the nursery man who has grown all the plants from seed he has gathered.What he has accomplished is very impressive and I look forward to seeing it again in a few years time.
