Sheldonian Theatre

Oxford, the place where new entrants to the university congregate to be formally admitted, ceremony conducted, naturally, in Latin. Also where those who have passed their Finals go, dressed in gowns and mortar boards, to receive their degrees; more Latin.

The image could have been colour because of the lovely blue sky and rich gold of the stone buildings but I felt it needed a timeless sense of antiquity and opted for black and white with sepia.
