High Heel Race

The DC High Heel Drag Queen Race is an annual event that has been held each year on the Tuesday before Halloween since 1986.

As many as 80,000 spectators flock to Dupont Circle to watch costumed drag queens show off their elaborate outfits for a couple of hours and then race down 17th Street. Loads of creativity and fun in that event :)
