By night

It's so strange going to the Rad Cam in the evening because it's unbelievably quiet compared to the hustle and bustle in the square during the day and the endless tourist groups taking photographs and students going to work in the library. By 10pm, it was just me.

I had an essay to finish: 'Geography should enter a new age of exploration'. Discuss.

I really enjoyed writing it, found it an interesting proposal. Luckily it only had to be 1000 words as it is for a class with the 8 of us rather than a tutorial with 2 or 3. I really wanted to make sure I managed to get out to take some photos once I'd finished my essay, and I'm glad I did. The light pollution is difficult, with everything coming out with an orange cast. Not helped by the fact that all of the lamps emit orange light, but I'm still pleased with my photo. I need some more practice but that's fine - gives me more reason to get out and find photographs!
