Up in Smoke

By the time I got off the bus this morning I was too late to catch any plumes of smoke (although I got a good whiff of it walking along Rose Street up to Starbucks). The fact that Princes Street was closed in both directions caused havoc for the buses, which were squeezing along George Street (especially with all those Zebra crossings). The shot used for the blip was taken after work - the street was still closed to traffic and there was still 2-3 fire engines parked outside.
All the pre-work early blipping meant I could go bookshopping at lunch time, although I was sure to snap this oddity, which we had spottted lurking around the back of our building from the kitchen window.
