Dark...already.

A quick wander at Kilmardinny Loch whilst the girls were bouncing and swimming. Unfortunately I just missed the lovely pinky sky of the sun setting, even though it was only just after half four.
I can see that blipping opportunities will be rather restricted during Winter. The clocks going back has firmly put Winter on the horizon, and since the gales have wheeched most of the leaves away early, it's looking very Wintery out there.
We have clear skies tonight though, so it's really cold.
There's a huge active sunspot (almost the size of Jupiter!!) at the moment which has been producing massive flares, so while we have clear skies I'll be keeping an eye out for Aurora.

I'm having a medicinal bourbon and then sleep.
