Heron on Watch

And, so was I.

I saw him catch a fish (not distinct enough to blip) and a crab which he tossed into his mouth. (Once again not close enough to make a good blip, although caught mid air).

This was my first trip out on the bike in over 3 weeks and it felt good. First my holiday, then various bugs and bad weather got in the way. Today I had stopped coughing enough to be able to pedal to the Kumeras in the early morning sun. It was lovely and I was rewarded with this grey heron.
