Autumn Gold (6)- Bannockburn

Although the day started with torrential rain , it was a gloriously clear afternoon when we had a walk by the Borestone and the statue of Bruce.
The statue was renovated and cleaned last year and it does look splendid, although it is unfortunate that birds' droppings now somewhat spoil its appearance!
