Couldn`t decide

You know how it is, you go out to get a blip and two opportunities present themselves.
First of all I was struck by the shadows thrown on the wall behind the Cathedral gate.
Then I saw the statue of St Dunstan on the side of the porch and wondered what an Anglo Saxon saint and former Arch Bishop was doing with a pair of pincers in his hand?
