Cast Away

These fishermen had finished with their casting for the day but still seemed an appropriate subject.
Plaster cast finally removed today, but as predicted the finger is still horribly deviated and I'm unable to move it whatsoever...Saw original doctor who'd assured me it didn't need surgery and he was trying to tell me this was all normal and it may take a few months for movement to return! Next appt in January...
One bright spot - Sarum Stroller chose my photo as his favourite 'derelict' image for this week, which was a pleasant surprise.
