East/west divide
It rained until mid-afternoon - torrentially at lunchtime! When I drove back from work, many of the roads resembled brown rivers - with run-off from the fields adding to the rain sheeting down.
By the time we took Louie for his late afternoon walk the rain had stopped, the moon was rising, the heavy clouds were moving away and the sky to the west bright and clear. Beautiful view across the fields, but the temperature had dropped by about 10deg.!
