After the rain

The recent rains caused some flooding and a few local road closures, so I was glad I didn't have to go out.

By late afternoon, however, the sun had reappeared, so once my grocery order had been delivered I was pleased to get out for a walk and some fresh air.

The muddy puddles were still very much in evidence, but the hills were looking clearer than they have for quite a while.
