Had to take little Maggie to the vet today. She has been renamed "Mrs Vom" by Dave as, for the last two days, she has been throwing up everything she has eaten. Never a large cat, she is down to 3.1kgs which the vet was a bit concerned about.

Poor Mags had three needles - one into her bladder to take a urine sample. This showed the presence of blood (no diabetes or obvious kidney issues though) leading the vet to think it might be an infection. So she had the other two jabs - a two week antibiotic and an anti-nausea drug so she can hopefully put some weight back on. We also invested in some bland, kind-to-the-stomach food. Maggie was really hungry when we got home and so I gave her a teaspoon of the food which she loved and seemed to keep down so fingers crossed!
