Poorly Paolo

Well, today's blip was going to be Paolo Nutini on stage at the Hydro in Glasgow. Big night out with my pal, booked months ago, very excited.
Just as we were heading out of the door to drive to Glasgow I got a text (small miracle in an area where mobile signals are scarce), telling us it was off. The boy has tonsillitis.
Gutted - us, not him.
Not to be put off, we rallied round, headed in to town for a lovely meal and a visit to the Dominion to see The Judge.
So, a nice evening out with my pal, especially on
a Monday. And home by 10.30.
Which is the time Paolo would have been finishing, if he'd started.
