The beach and town at Old Grimsby, Tresco, Scilly

Sea journey from our base at St Martins to one of the other of the 5 inhabited Scilly Isles and then beginning of the walk that took us around the Island, via King Charles and the Cromwell Castles , which used to guard the entrance into the English Channel, and then to the famous Tresco Gardens. Famous to us now that is. A little time to eat and build sand dungeons and then catch the tide on the ' Lightening' back to St, Martins. Exhausted! Not really. We are staying at the recently reopened and shortly to be remodeled Karma hotel. The only hotel on St Martins and it's very special.
