Condobolin Railway station.
My two work mates had never been to this railway station in the middle of a small town in the centre of New South Wales. That is because it isn't used much. The Broken Hill train goes out from Sydney on Monday and returns on Tuesday. The time is about 12 hours each way so we were pleased to only have a four hour journey.
Condo, as it is called, is in the wheat belt and harvesting is about to start. This has been a good year and the Canola is cut and waiting in windrows awaiting the next stage of pick up and threshing. The barley is finished which leaves the wheat to do next.
I have work colleagues stationed out in Condo so I try to get out to visit them for support at least once a year. We had a great time catching up.
