Pumpkin Painting Time

We are part of the Teal Pumpkin campaign! No we don't suffer from food allergies nor do we disdain candy treats. However we do feel that there are a lot of candy and sugary treats around on Halloween and we don't need to give more!
So we give out toys! We offer an assortment of goodies including playdough, bubbles, pencils, erasers, notepads, stickers, and then more plasticy or Halloween items - eyepatches, fake teeth, alien toys etc!
We hunted for a teal pumpkin in order to advertise our toy collection (see CNN Teal Pumpkin
There were none to be had, fake or painted. So we painted one of our own! And inspired by a Pinterest Frozen Teal pumpkin, we added glitter today and have more plans for tomorrow! (See frozen teal.
Since my daughter's suggestion for why we were painting a pumpkin blue was because it is my favourite colour, she then asked to paint a second pumpkin pink since that's her favourite colour! So now we have multi-coloured pumpkins!!
