River Almond

I've blipped the River Almond before, but at Cramond. This is in Livingston, probably about half-way along its route from the upland moors on the Lanarkshire border.

Lovely sunny day but our over-enthusiastic Estate's manager took reducing our carbon footprint just a bit too far today when the heating was turned off for two hours this afternoon. Temperature readings of 20.7C didn't convince me that the office provided reasonable comfort without the need for special clothing. I was working with my outdoor jacket and scarf on! Thermal vest and long-johns tomorrow - or perhaps I should just go the whole hog and make a point by wearing my salopettes and down jacket...
