Which way is up?..
..the rock face at Inchnadamph is pretty porous. The limestone here is riddled with underground streams carved deep into the rock. There is an extensive cave system here, some of which I've explored - but not too far!
After heavy rain, this rock face erupts with numerous underground streams. Always reminds me of an Indianna Jones movie!!.
The rock above is harder, and the water just flows over, rather than through. In this case, it was also quite windy, and the burn was being blown back up again. (Had the wrong lens on again, and couldn't get far enough away to get a better view)..
Took B back to Ullapool to get the bus to Inverness. Tomorrow she's going to Glasgow, and then flying to Bristol.. It was nice to see her again..
